Vaastu Shastra holds an important role in Hindu mythology. It is the science of harmony and prosperity by strengthening the positive energies around us. The science of Vastu adds value to life by bringing peace and prosperity. The principles of Vaastu Shastra can be used in a variety of areas, including choosing farmland, building a farm, or sowing.
It is believed that this will lead to an impressive result when it comes to agricultural production. Behind every Vastu tip hides a scientific reason and mathematical calculations of attributes based on the direction of the site; it therefore becomes more plausible to follow.
Below are some of the tips from Vastu that you should keep in mind when choosing farmland:
The slope of agricultural land
If the principles of Vastu Shastra are to be followed, a plot of agricultural land should be smooth and not multi-level. And if there is a certain incline or slope in the field, it should be in the north or east directions. The slope should essentially not face south or west. This is a rule according to Vastu Shastra which should in no case be neglected to receive optimal agricultural products. In the event that a block of land has a downward slope to the west or south, then the expenses of the owner of the land exceed his income.
Farmland with a road to the south should be avoided
According to Vastu Shastra, it is best to avoid farmland accompanied by a road to the south.
The shape of the agricultural plot
Agricultural land should be rectangular or square in shape. This land must not be cut in a south-west or south-east direction.
Plant tall trees adjacent to farmland
You can plant large trees on the south or west sides of farmland, as it has been found to be helpful in improving crop yield.
Placement of borehole and underground reservoir for water storage
Boreholes as well as underground reservoirs for water storage should preferably be placed in the northeast direction of the east and north sides. Wells should never be located in south-east, north-west or south-west directions as this would result in huge losses according to Vastu for agricultural land.
Residences or Huts for Agricultural Workers
Residences or huts for farm workers should ideally be built in the west or southwest direction according to Vastu-Shastra.
A thick and tall compound wall to be built in the right way
A thick, high compound wall 10 to 20 feet long and 6 feet high should be constructed in the west and south sides of the southwest direction of the field. A full wall in these directions would prove beneficial for agricultural production. These walls should never be there in the north or east directions.
