The Ministry of Agriculture, Agrarian Reform and Rural Development (DALRRD) wishes to inform subsistence farmers benefiting from the presidential employment stimulation coupons (PES) of the decision to suspend any implementation of the PES with effect immediate until further notice. The department reviews, reorganizes and redesigns the implementation of the PES, in order to meet all the challenges encountered.
It is unfortunate that the department has received endless complaints from PES beneficiaries and the South African community at large, regarding various challenges related to PES implementation. These implementation challenges cannot be left unattended, hence the ministry’s decision to temporarily halt the current implementation.
Recipients are further encouraged to check their cell phone messages as sent by the department from time to time.
The department had issued production input vouchers in support of subsistence producers, as part of the Presidential Employment Recovery (PES) in South Africa.
