Ministry of Agriculture Notifies Public of Changes to COVID-19 Response

Due to the rapid spread of COVID-19 in the territory, the VI Department of Agriculture will reduce its hours, with immediate effect, until Monday, January 10, 2022, to limit exposure and promote safety and welfare. be our employees, customers and the Virgin Islands community as a whole.

VIDA will change the hours of operation from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., effective Tuesday, December 28. The department encourages its customers and farmers to limit visits to VIDA offices unless purchasing seedlings, feed or other farm supplies.

For any request outside these hours, contact us at 778-0997 on Sainte-Croix; 774-5182 on Saint-Thomas; or 776-6274 on St. John. Visitors to the department’s offices will be required to maintain the six-foot social distancing policy at all times.
