A partnership between the Navuso Agriculture Technical Institute and the Australia Pacific Training Coalition will help improve the quality of agricultural training for Fijians, including the opportunity for more women to become skilled farmers.

The Australian Government, through APTC, supports the institute to improve training for women in agriculture.

In addition, it also funded the recently completed renovation of the women’s dormitory, as well as the construction of an inclusive toilet block, a greenhouse for vanilla production, a basic plastic house for vegetables and production of high-value crops, and a drying shed for pandanus leaves.
