By Ruben Morales Iglesias: The Toledo Department of Agriculture contacted the Youth Association for Livelihood Development in Toledo (YADLIT).
Last week, the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security and Enterprise (MAFSE), through the Toledo Department of Agriculture, hosted a germination training session as part of a series of plantations at YADLIT.
“We would like to thank the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Security and Business for organizing the first session (Germination) of the planting series on our farm today,” YADLIT said in a post on networks. social on January 13.
MAFSE said the Toledo Department of Agriculture helped YADLIT with its outreach program.
“Thank you to our Agric team in Toledo for helping YADLIT, a youth development organization. We hope the training will go a long way in helping young people earn a living,” MAFSE said.
MAFSE said YADLIT’s outreach activities to young people through the YADLIT farm include pig and chicken projects and farms. YADLIT also offers sports and educational programs with the aim of engaging young people in the southernmost district in healthy activity.
MAFSE said it intended to continue collaborating with the youth organisation.
